Jatio Tarun Sangha (JTS) was established in 1966 in Hazaribagh area under Lalbagh police station of Dhaka. This organization is one of the members of ‘World Assembly of Youth’ (WAY) and ‘International Organisation of Good Templars’ (IOGT). Various activities of JTS have been appreciated at home and abroad. Since its beginning, it has been conducting health and family planning programs, youth leadership training, education programs, water and sanitation programs, children’s talent development programs, alcohol and drug prevention programs, blood donation programs, tree plantation programs, fish farming and mass education. In 1973, the organization was approved by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and later received national recognition. JTS runs various programme across the country to develop the living standards of the country’s youth. Providing various employment opportunities to the youth, involving youth in various socio-economic activities of the country through microfinance facilities and making the youth self-reliant and contributing greatly to the socio-economic development of the country. JTS has many branches across the country and the members of these branches have a council called ‘Youth Parliament’. There are representatives nominated from 64 districts of the country in this parliament. This parliament has a Central Executive Council consisting of 11 members and a General Assembly consisting of 82 members. Swosti Ltd. feels truly honored and privileged by being partnered with one of the oldest NGO & MFI in the country named Jatio Tarun Sangha (JTS), to provide software service of Swosti-mfi247 for automating the microfinance operation of JTS from 1st February 2023.
